Council analysis ; Bingham Township - 2 ; Cedar <br /> Grove Township - 2 ; Hillsborough Township - 2 ; Eno Township - 2 ; Little River Township - 2 ; <br /> Cheeks Township 2; Chapel Hill Township - 2 ; Governing Body Representative - 1; School Boards - <br /> 2 ; Recreation Commissions - 2; Municipalities - 3 . <br /> SECTION IX; LENGTH OF APPOINTMENT <br /> Each member shall be -appointed for a three (3) year term, Initial appointments shall be <br /> arranged so that approximately one-third "1/3) of the terms will expire each year, except for <br /> the representative from the Orange County Board of Commissioners who shall serve on the Recreation <br /> Council concurrent with his or her term of office on the Board of Commissioners . No other member <br /> may serve more than two (2) consecutive terms of office , or six (6) years without a one (1) year <br /> break in service after this time period. <br /> SECTION X; MEETINGS <br /> Council meetings shall be held on a monthly basis unless when determined otherwise by the <br /> Council, The Chairman of the Council or, in his absense, the Vice-Chairman, may call a special <br /> meeting of the Council at any time by giving each member twenty-four (24) hours notice. Special <br /> meetings' will be scheduled upon request by four (4) or more Council members. A quorum of the <br /> Council shall be in attendance before action of an official nature can be taken. A quorum is at <br /> least vne (1) or more than the number absent , of appointed members. <br />
