The purpose of the executive session was to discuss the possible <br /> 5. acquisition of the Belk-Leggett-Horton building in Chapel. Hill. <br /> 6 . Commissior er Willhoit stated that he felt the County needed to take <br /> 7. some positive ction and demonstrate d definite interest in acquiring the <br /> 8. buildin . He recited g the need for additional office space in the Chapel <br /> 9 . Hill area. <br /> 10. Chairman Whitted expressed his concern of how to finance the purchas <br /> 11, 0f the property. He stated that the County should tie down the capital <br /> 12. improvement program. in which At i�; presently involved. He further sugges. <br /> 13, that the County rind out Chapel Hill 's commitment. <br /> 14 . Commissioner Gustaveson spoke of the need to talk seriously with <br /> 15 . Chapel Hill Aldermen and the Mayor of the Town. <br /> 16 . The Board asked that the County Manager talk with the Chapel Hill <br /> 1.7 .
