AGENDA ATTACHMENT IV <br /> AUTOMOBILE BIDS <br /> The Mangler submitted a report of bid results and a recommendation <br /> concerning tie acquisition of six police vehicles at the Board meeting <br /> of November 7th. <br /> Further discussion of the recommendation with the Sheriff has lead <br /> to a modified recommendation from the Manager. <br /> Since the Sheriff feels the cars proposed by the low bidder were <br /> not as satisfactory as for police patrol work as those proposed by the <br /> next low bi der, the Manager is submitting a new recommendation. <br /> "That five 1978 Ford automobiles as bid by Ray Motor Company be <br /> purchased; and that one 1977 Ford automobile previously offered in <br /> trade ( nit number 7B63S222286) be retained by the County for continued <br /> use in he Sheriff's Department.
