RECOMMENDATIONS: <br /> The following reca ndations are made to the Board of Aldermen: <br /> 1 . That the T wn join the Board of Education in developing the following <br /> facilities <br /> a. Gulbr th Junior High School baseball field - by funding the construction <br /> of th field, providing lights, bleachers, fencing, back stop, bases, <br /> and pitchers' mound at a cost of about $49,000. <br /> Phi Junior High School Football Track and Baseball Field - by <br /> b. ll ps u g Football/ <br /> Track <br /> in the project in an amount of about $57,000. <br /> C. Ephes s Park by paving, curbing and guttering the existing road <br /> which is on school property, constructing 13 gravel parking spaces <br /> on Town property, erecting fences and barriers for traffic control <br /> and provided a 'pedestrian walk-way at a cost of about W31 ,000. <br /> '. That cooperative agreements for the above projects be developed to include <br /> specific arrangements for adequate maintenance of facilities; <br /> 3. That the Board of Education execute a lease for the Lincoln Gym and maintenancE <br /> building with the Town of Chapel Hill for a period of thirty (30) years at <br /> the rate oF ONE 00LLAR ($1 .00) per year to provide recreational and related <br /> programs t citizens of Southern Grange County. <br /> A summary tabulatioi of estimated costs and a resolution incorporating the above <br /> recommendations for the Board's consideration are attached. <br /> Attachments <br />
