AGENDA-ATTACHMENT V <br /> REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL COURTROOM FURNISHING <br /> The Hono able Ronald Barbie, Judge Presiding in the Orange County <br /> Superior Cou t, has strongly requested additional Courtroom furniture <br /> and equipment be secured by the County to more adequately furnish some <br /> of the offic rs behind the Courtroom. This furniture and equipment <br /> (desks, tables , chairs and typewriter) are estimated to cost about $1 ,500. <br /> A small sum was provided in this years budget for court purposes. These <br /> funds have been exhausted however as two additional employees have been <br /> added in the Clerk's office and acquisition of an additional set of General <br /> Statutes was directed by the court. <br /> The Manager recommends this transfer of funds be approved. <br />
