NOTICE OF :PUBLIC HEARING <br /> ON <br /> PRELIMINARY ASSESSMENT RESOLUTION ADOPTED BY <br /> THE ORANGE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS TO <br /> FINANCE THE LOCAL SHARE OF THE COSTS OF PAVING <br /> NORTH CAROLINA STATE ROAD #1819, ALSO KNOWN <br /> AS ADAM'S PLACE, NORTH CAROLINA STATE ROAD <br /> #1820, ALSO KNOWN AS JEFFERSON DRIVE, NORTH <br /> CAROLINA STATE ROAD #1821, ALSO KNOWN AS <br /> WASHINGTON DRIVE, AND NORTH CAROLINA STATE <br /> ROAD #1822, ALSO KNOWN AS KENNEDY CIRCLE, IN <br /> ENO TOWNSHIP, ORANGE COUNTY, NORTH CAROLINA <br /> Notice is hereby given that, pursuant to Article 9 of <br /> Chapter 153A of the General Statutes of North Carolina, the <br /> Commissioners for Orange County have adopted a Preliminary <br /> Assessment Resolution as follows: <br /> 1. Orange County shall undertake financing of the local <br /> share of paving North Carolina State Road #1819, also known as <br /> Adam's Place, North Carolina State Road #1820, also known as <br /> Jefferson Drive, North Carolina State Road #1821, also known as <br /> Washington Drive, and North Carolina State Road #1822, also <br /> known as Kennedy Circle, in Eno Township, Orange County, North <br /> Carolina. <br /> 2. The basis for assessment for the local share of <br /> the costs of this project shall be the area of land served by <br /> the project at an equal rate per unit of area. <br /> 3. Orange County will assess the total local share <br /> according to the basis set .out in number 2 above which local <br /> share represents approximately forty-five percent (458) of <br /> the total project cost. <br /> 4. No assessments of this project will be held in abeyance. <br /> 5. The assessments shall be paid in the following manner: <br /> a. Within thirty (30) days after the notice of <br /> confirmation of the assessment role is published, <br /> each owner of the property may pay his assessment <br /> in full. <br /> b.
