M., on the <br /> 20th day of September , 1977 . <br /> Present: Commissioners Richard Whitted, Norman <br /> Gustaveson, Jan Pinney, Norman Walker and Donald Willhoit <br /> Absent: None <br /> The following resolution was read to the Board: <br /> PRELIMINARY ASSESSMENT RESOLUTION FOR THE FINANCING <br /> BY ORANGE COUNTY OF THE LOCAL SHARE OF THE COSTS OF <br /> PAVING NORTH CAROLINA STATE ROAD #1819, ALSO KNOWN <br /> AS ADAM'S PLACE, NORTH CAROLINA STATE ROAD #1820, <br /> ALSO KNOWN AS JEFFERSON DRIVE, NORTH CAROLINA STATE <br /> ROAD #1821, ALSO KNOWN AS WASHINGTON DRIVE AND NORTH <br /> CAROLINA STATE ROAD #1822, ALSO KNOWN AS KENNEDY <br /> CIRCLE., IN ENO TOWNSHIP, ORANGE COUNTY, NORTH CAROLINA. <br /> WHEREAS the Board of County Commissioners of Orange <br /> County has received a petition requesting the paving of North <br /> Carolina State Road #1819, also known as Adam's Place, North <br /> Carolina State Road #1820, also known as Jefferson Drive, North <br /> Carolina State Road #182.1, also known as Washington Drive, and <br /> North Carolina State Road #1822, also known as Kennedy Circle, <br /> in Eno Township, Orange County, North Carolina, which petition <br /> has been signed by at least seventy-five percent (75%) of the <br /> owners of property adjoining the said roads, which property <br /> represents at least seventy-five percent (75%) of the lineal <br /> feet of frontage of the lands abutting the said roads, <br /> pursuant to North Carolina General Statute §153A-205(c) ; and <br /> i <br /> WHEREAS the Board of County Commissioners of Orange <br /> County has: elected to finance the local share of the costs <br /> of paving the said roads, as:i,permitted by North Carolina General <br /> Statute §153A-185(4) and as provided for in North Carolina <br /> General Statute §153A-205(a) ; <br /> WINSTON.
