NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING <br /> ON <br /> PRELIMINARY ASSESSMENT RESOLUTION ADOPTED BY THE <br /> ORANGE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS TO FINANCE A <br /> PORTION OF THE LOCAL SHARE OF THE COSTS OF PAVING <br /> BAYBERRY DRIVE, AZALEA DRIVE, AND AZALEA PLACE, ROADS <br /> LOCATED IN SECTION I OF MORGAN CREEK HILLS SUB- <br /> DIVISION IN CHAPEL HILL TOWNSHIP , ORANGE COUNTY, <br /> NOR'T'H CAROLINA <br /> Notice is hereby given that , pursuant to Article 9 of <br /> Chapter 15:3A of the General. Statutes of North Carolina, the <br /> Commis ioners for Orange County have adopted a Preliminary <br /> Assessment Resolution as follows : <br /> 1. Orange County shall undertake financing of a portion <br /> of the .local share of paving Bayberry Drive, Azalea Drive, and <br /> Azalea Place, roads located in Section I of Morgan Creek Hills <br /> Subdivision in Chapel Hill Township, Orange County, North <br /> Carolina. The amount to be financed by Orange County, is <br /> estima ed to be $16 ,694. 00 , including costs and attorneys fees. <br /> No portion of the costs of paving the above roads will be borne <br /> by the Department of Transportation or the State of North Carol.ii <br /> 2 . The basis for assessment for the local share of the <br /> costs of this project shall be the number of lots served, or <br /> subjec to be served, at an equal rate per lot. <br /> 3 . Orange County will assess the financed portion, of the <br /> total Ehare according to the basis set out in number 2 above <br /> which financed portion of the total local share represents <br /> approximately seventy-seven percent (77%) of the total project <br /> cost. <br /> 4. No assessments of this project will be held in <br /> abeyance. <br /> 5. The assessments shall be paid in the following <br /> manner: <br />
