The work would include insulation, weather- <br /> stripping, p tching roofs, caulking walls, storm windows and doors, and <br /> under-pinnin where possible. JOCCA already has a weatherization waiting <br /> list of 25 families in Orange County and another 15 homes have not <br /> been cOm_PTe_t_4Td because of material shortages and laccl~`of crews to finish <br /> the work. <br /> I. Crews. We would hire two crews- one with Supervisor and one workman, <br /> one with supervisor and two workmen. Two workmen would work 25 weeks, <br /> and everyone else 26 weeks, all 40 hours a week. <br /> 2 Supervisors at $4.80 per hr. $ 9,984 <br /> 3 Workmen at $3.00 per hr. 9,120 <br /> Total 19,104 <br /> +15% fringe 2,866 <br /> Total 2 ,97 <br /> We need t hire the two supervisors under the old CETA eligibility (30 <br /> days un loyed) to try to get qualified people. <br /> 2. Tools and Travel . $300 per month x 6 months - $1,800. <br /> Our a er nergy Grant includes $1,878 for tools and travel , Oct. 1- <br /> March 31, in both counties. We are also exploring the idea of charging <br /> people, o a sliding scale, up-to 10% the cost of materials toward over- <br /> head. <br /> 3. Materials We have $8,750 from a Federal Energy Grant to use for <br /> wear eriz tion materials in Orange County, Oct. 1- March 31. With a <br /> $250 limit per house this covers a minimum of 35 homes. <br /> 4. Income E7"qibilitv. The material grants are available to families with <br /> 125 oT'cs <br /> o t e poverty line income. Sample incomes for non-farm <br /> famili : Family of 1- $3,713; two- $4,913; four- $7,313; six- <br /> $9,713ority. is given to emergencies, senior citizens, and families <br /> with shildren. <br /> wm <br />
