I a <br /> you to carefully consider: Which is more important , the preservation <br /> and protection of Focal forest and stream for University education, <br /> research ani recreation or the sacrifice of such forest and stream fo <br /> the con.veni nce of the motoring public. <br /> In summary, the President of the united States and the Governor of <br /> North Carolina have both recognized and set in motion various efforts <br /> aimed at both recognizing energy and water shortages and causing <br /> governmental actions to recognize the same. Further, both the Presid <br /> and the Governor have solicited citizen input and have pledged themse <br /> to assist citizens in achieving and practicing good government . <br /> Since your Board is a part of State Government and has only recently <br /> talon office it clearly behooves you and each of you to fully inform <br /> yourselves and to act both responsibly and wisely.
