In those endeavors quality was not <br /> forgotten. A recent independent study rated my present department <br /> as probably th best in Tilinois ( excluding Chicago which exists <br /> in an unratab e world of its own.) . i am quite aware that such a <br /> rating is due to the staff efforts. <br /> As further introduction of myself, T classify myself as a <br /> pragmatic, principled administrator who expects a great deal of <br /> of fvr't from h� s staff.. However,, i am not a ' sour, crusty; type <br /> and I enjoy p .easan:t relationships. As I have handled and spent <br /> large sums o.; public monies on social goals, one might get the <br /> false i.mpresi n that I am a fiscal liberal. A check on my record <br /> and backgroun fill reveal that I am considered a fiscal conservative <br /> with a libera.. social philosophy. in matters of public health ( this <br /> latter remark has been made by conservative physicians who are <br /> opposed to an public health programming) . The one -thing that I <br /> and my conser ative physician friends agree upon is that I do <br /> squeeze out a. lot for dollar spent.I I would ajoy learning more about your position and specifics <br /> on what you hEpe to create and accomplish.
