=Ei, <br /> RESOLUTION REGARDING PRIMARY ROADS <br /> IN ORANGE COUNTY <br /> WHEREAS, The Orange County Board of Commissioner's has a <br /> res onsibility and concern for all citizens of <br /> O:ra ge County to provide the best roads possible, <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, The Orange County Board of Commissioners have dis- <br /> cussed at great length the needed improvements to <br /> primary roads within Orange County and those primary <br /> roads leading into Orange County, and <br /> WHEREAS, The Orange County Board of Commissioners recognizes <br /> the need for improvements to the heavily traveled <br /> primary roads, namely, Highway 86 , between Chapel Hill <br /> and Hillsborough, and Highway 54 , East of Chapel Hill <br /> and leading toward the Research 'Triangle area. <br /> NOW, THEREFOR , BE IT RESOLVED THAT <br /> The Orange County Board of Commissioners does encourage <br /> improvements to primary roads in Orange County that are <br /> designed and intended to meet local transportation needs. <br /> Duly Adopted this the 16th day of August, 1977 <br /> County of Orange <br /> State of North Carolina <br /> I, Agatha Johnson, Clerk to the Orange County Board of Commis- <br /> sioners , do he eby CERTIFY that the foregoing is a true and accurate <br /> copy of a port on of the minutes of the Orange County Board of Com- <br /> missioners' Me ting held on August 16, 1977. <br /> WITNESS y Hand and Seal. of Office this the 17th day of <br /> August, 1977. <br /> '} <br /> Agata Johns di, Clerk to the <br /> Orange County Boar? of Commissioners <br />
