n <br /> For purposes of the regulations, where MPS or MAP indicates <br /> that decisions or determinations are to be made by HUD or <br /> specified officials thereof, such decisions or determin- <br /> ations shall be made instead by the Zoning officer. <br /> 6.12.2 Definitions And Methods of Measurement Relatin.5 TO <br /> Standard LUI Ratios; Re irements And Limitations <br /> The following definitions and methods of measurement <br /> shall be used in the district and for the uses re- <br /> gulated under the LUZ system. subject to modifications <br /> made herein, specifically or in general, where further <br /> detail is needed in connection with standards, defini- <br /> tions, or methods for measurements, referral shall be <br /> made to appropriate sections of MPS or MAP. Except <br /> where application to other uses is specifically indicated, <br /> floor area, open space, liveability space, and recreation <br /> space ratios shall be applied only to such land area, <br /> floor area, open space, and related elements as are <br /> incidental to and compartible with residential use. <br /> 6.12.2.1 Gross Land Area <br /> a) of pD-H Districts <br /> Gross land area of pD-14 districts shall be computed as <br /> all area, except that to be devoted to nonresidential <br /> purposes, within district boundaries, plus half of the <br /> adjoining permanent open space such as streets, parks, <br /> lakes, cemeteries, and the like, provided that the <br /> width of such open space credited shall be limited to <br /> a number of feet equal to the LUI rating applying to <br /> the land involved.
