Establishment Of Permitted Use Table <br /> 4.1 Establishment Of Use -Regulations <br /> Except as otherwise provided herein, regulations governing <br /> the use of land and structures are hereby established as <br /> shown in the Schedule of Permitted Uses. Uses not expressly <br /> permitted are prohibited. <br /> Uses requiring special. permits must meet certain conditions <br /> specified in this ordinance. only after the existence of <br /> these specified conditions has been determined by the Board <br /> of Adjustment, or the Board of commissioners, as appropriate, <br /> will a special permit be issued; otherwise such uses are <br /> prohibited uses. <br /> Regulations governing the use of land and structures within <br /> a Planned Development district are as established in Article <br /> 7. <br /> 4.2 District Statements Of Intent And A location Criteria <br /> 4.2.1 Agricultural Residential (AR) District <br /> a) Intent <br /> The purpose of the Agricultural Residential (AR) District is <br /> to assist in the preservation of land suitable, as a result <br /> of location, existing farming operations, soils and topography, <br /> for agricultural, silvicultural or horticultural uses and to <br /> protect such uses from the adverse effects of incompatible land <br /> uses. <br /> b) Application Criteria <br /> This district will usually be applied where the following <br /> conditions exist: <br /> 1. Designated by the adopted band Use Plan as Agricultural <br /> Residential. <br /> 2. Urban services, including water distribution and sewage <br /> collection mains are not likely within 10.20 years. <br /> 4-1 <br />
