2.2.8 Meeting Minutes <br /> The Board shall cause minutes of its meetings to Ice maintained <br /> as a permanent public record. Such minutes shall record the <br /> attendance of its members, its findings, recommendations, and <br /> a summary of information, data and testimony presented to it. <br /> b <br /> 2.2.9 Annual Report <br /> The Board shall, by January 31, of each year, submit to the <br /> Board of County commissioners and Annual. Report of its activities, <br /> during the previous year, any recommendations affecting persons, <br /> duties, and fiscal matters as it deems appropriate. <br /> s <br /> 2.2.10 General Powers And Duties <br /> As provided for at 153A-321 of the General Statutes of North <br /> Carolina, as amended, the Planning Hoard shall, have the <br /> following Powers and Duties: <br /> a) Make studies of Orange County and surrounding areas; <br /> b) Determine objectives to be sought in the development of orange <br /> County; <br /> c) Propose and adopt plans for achieving these objectives; <br /> d) Develop and recommend to the Board of Commissioners policies, <br /> ordinances, administrative procedures and other means for <br /> carrying out plans in a coordinated and efficient manner; <br /> e) Adivse the Board of Commissioners concerning the use and amend- <br /> ment of means for carrying out plans; <br /> f) Exercise such functions in the administration and enforcement of <br /> various means for carrying out plans as may be assigned by this <br /> or other ordinances of the County; <br /> g) Perform other related duties as may be assigned by this or other <br /> ordinances. <br /> 2.2.11 S ecific Powers And Duties. <br /> in furtherance of sub-section 2.2.10 the Planning Board is <br /> authorized and directed to: <br /> 1 <br /> a) Gather maps and aerial photographs of man-made and natural <br /> 2-4 <br /> i <br /> f <br />
