ARTICLE 23. VID3.ATIONS, PENALTIES AND REMEDIFS <br /> 23.1 Violations <br /> Whenever, by the provisions of this ordinance, the perfornumCe <br /> of any act is prohibited, or whenever any regulation, dimension <br /> or limitation is imposed on the use of any land, or of the erection or alterations or the use or change n with <br /> struc- <br /> ture, or the uses within such structure, a failure to comply Fr <br /> such provisions of this ordinance shall constitute a separate <br /> violation and a separate offense. <br /> 23.2 Penalties <br /> Any person adjudged in violation of this ordinance shall be guilty <br /> of a misdemeanor and shall be punished as provided in G.S. 14-4. <br /> 23.3 Remedies <br /> if a building or structure is erected, constructed, reconstructed, <br /> altered, repaired, converted, moved or maintained, or any build- <br /> ing, structure of land is used in violation of this ordinance, the <br /> Zoning officer, in addition to other remedies, may institute any <br /> appropriate action or proceedings to prevent the unlawful erecH on, <br /> construction, reconstruction, alteration, repair, conversion, <br /> moving, maintenance or use, to restrain, <br /> violation, to prevent occupancy of the building, structure or land, <br /> or to prevent any illegal act, conduct business or use in or about <br /> the premises. <br /> 23-1 <br />
