In general, landscaping as required above shall be of <br /> a nature which conceals extensive parking areas, service <br /> areas within the district, and other undesirable views <br /> into the district, where such concealment is reasonably <br /> practicable, but shall not create hazards to automotive <br /> traffic or pedestrians by reducing visibility at inter- <br /> sections within or adjoining the district. <br /> Where deemed necessary for protection of adjacent <br /> property against the adverse effects of noise, lights or <br /> undersirable views, fences, walls or hedges of an <br /> appropriate character may be required. <br /> b) Internal Relationships. In general, the plan shall <br /> provide a unified and well-organized arragnement of <br /> buildings, service areas,.parking and pedestrian and <br /> landscaped common areas providing for maximum comfort <br /> and convenience of visitors and occupants. Commercial <br /> buildings shall be so.grouped in relation to parking areas <br /> that after visitors arriving by automobile enter the walk- <br /> way system, establishments can be visited conveniently <br /> with a minimum of internal automotive movements. <br /> Facilities and access routes for deliveries, servicing <br /> and maintenance shall be so located and arranged as <br /> to prevent interference with pedestrian traffic in the <br /> development. <br /> Service stations, if provided, shall be so located <br /> that operations do not interrupt pedestrian or traffic <br /> flows in other parts of the center- <br /> Loading zones where customers pick up goods shall be <br /> so Located and arranged as to prevent interference <br /> with ,pedestrian movement within the development. <br /> s <br /> 7-24 <br />
