- f 1 <br /> 4) Uses adjacent to single-family residence districts. <br /> Where PD--H district adjoins a single-family district <br /> without intervening permanent open space at least one <br /> hundred feet in width serving as a separation for buildable <br /> areas, the portion of the ,perimeter of the PD-H district <br /> so adjoining shall be planned and developed only for uses <br /> permitted in the adjoining residential district and in ac- <br /> cordance with all other requirements for such district, <br /> provided however that in lieu of development, common open <br /> space for the PD-H district to a depth of one hundred feet <br /> from the district boundary may be permitted. No intensive <br /> recreational, use or off-street parking shall be permitted <br /> within seventy five feet of the district boundary in such <br /> circumstances. <br /> 5) Yards, fences, walls or vegetative screening at edges of PD- <br /> H districts shall be provided where needed to protect resi-- <br /> dents from undesirable views, lighting, noise or other off- <br /> site influences, or to protect occupants of adjoining resi- <br /> dential districts from similar adverse influences with the <br /> PD-H district. in particular, extensive off-street parking <br /> areas and service areas for loading and unloading vehicles <br /> other than passengers, and areas for storage and collection <br /> of refuse and garbage shall be screened . <br /> 6) Height limitations at edges of PD-H districts- <br /> Maximum height of buildings shall be as set forth in <br /> Article 5 and subsection 6.4.2. <br /> 7) Signs visible from outside PD-H districts. <br /> All signs erected in PD-H districts shall be according to <br /> Article 9. in addition, during the process of construction <br /> and initial sale and/or rental within such development, <br /> temporary announcement signs may be allowed, as provided <br /> in section 9.6. <br /> b) Internal Relationships <br /> The site plan shall provide fox safe, efficient, convenient <br /> and harmonious groupings of structures. uses and facilities, <br /> for appropriate relation of space inside and outside build- <br /> ings to intended uses and structural features, and for pre- <br /> servation of desirable natural features and minimum distur- <br /> bance of natural topography. in particular- <br /> 1) Streets, drives, parking and service areas shall provide <br /> safe and convenient access to dwelling units and general <br /> facilities, and for service and emergency vehicles. Streets <br /> shall not be so laid out as to encourage outside traffic <br /> to traverse the development on minor streets, nor occupy <br /> more land than is required to provide access as indicated, <br /> 7-16 <br />
