7 <br /> NORTH CAROLINA <br /> ORANGE COUNTY <br /> TO: THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS FOR ORANGE COUNTY, NORTH CAROLINA: <br /> KQU ST TO CLOSE A 30-FOOT UNOPENED ROAD <br /> The undersigned, Percy Ellis McLamb and wife, Ellen <br /> Mize Mc.Lamb, petition the Board of Commissioners for Orange <br /> County, North Carolina as follows: <br /> That there is shown on a certain plat recorded in _. <br /> Plat Book 4, Page 155, Orange County Registry, entitled "PART <br /> OF THE ROY CRAWFORD DEVELOPMENT", as surveyed by J. Ralph Weaver, <br /> R. L. S. , a certain 30--foot extension of hillside Lane, East of <br /> the intersection of Hillside Lane and Short Street; said <br /> extension lying East of the Easternmost boundary of the right-of-w <br /> to Short Street as shown on said plat, said extension being <br /> approximately 30 feet on the Western margin, 60 feet on the <br /> Southern margin, 30 feet on the Eastern margin and 40 feet on the <br /> ' Northern margin; said extension of Hillside Lane having never <br /> been opened for vehicular traffic or other purposes, and said <br /> extension not presently being opened for vehicular traffic or <br /> other purpose; that to permanently close that portion of Hillsi_-_ <br /> Lane lying East of the Easternmost margin of Short Street as <br /> described above would not be contrary to the public interest, <br /> and that no person, firm, corporation or individual owning property <br /> in the vicinity of said street would be deprived of a reasonable <br /> means of ingress: and egress to his property by the closing of <br /> such portion of said street; that it is to the best interest of <br /> the Petitioners and of the general public that said street or <br /> road be closed and that the Petitioners herein are all of the <br /> owners of the property lying South o4 that portion of said street <br /> which 'these Petitioners seek to have closed. <br /> WHEREFORE, the undersigned resepctfully request th <br /> BttFHAtn a CHCSH%RC� <br /> ATTORNF.YG AT 6 %v <br /> ( 1,he 3D3Td Of Commissioners of Orange County, North Carolina, a6 -. t <br /> 100 N..CHUnTON snscer <br /> HHAM19PROUGH. <br /> N.C. <br /> 2727A <br />
