v� <br /> d NORTH CAROLINA <br /> R�tSOLUTION <br /> ORANGE COUNTY <br /> WHEREAS Virginia Foust has offered to repurchase <br /> from Orange County land previously owned by Roberta Foust and <br /> foreclosed by Orange County for nonpayment of property taxes <br /> and more fully explained in that offer to purchase attached <br /> hereto: <br /> WHEREAS Virginia Foust has offered to purchase <br /> said land for the sutra of $600.00 and has deposited same with <br /> Geoffrey E. Gledhill as escrow agent; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, it is resolved that Orange County, by <br /> and through its governing unit; pursuant to North Carolina <br /> General Statute §105-376(c) , in its discretion, will sell and <br /> convey to Virginia Foust, heir of the former owner of the <br /> property hereinbelow described, that property known as: <br /> BEING that certain tract of land lying and being in Cheeks <br /> Township, Orange County, North Carolina and more particularly <br /> described as follows: <br /> ''BEGINNING at a rock and pointers, Richard Poteat's Southeast, <br /> corner, and running thence South 88 deg. 30 min. East 141 ft.. <br /> to a rock and pointers on the line of W. H. Williams; thence <br /> with the line of Williams North 2 deg. East 950 feet to a rock <br /> and pointers, Williams corner and on the line of George <br /> Crutchfield; thence North 86 deg. 15 min. West 141 feet to rock <br /> and pointers; thence South 2 deg. West 943 feet to the place <br /> or point of beginning, containing 3 acres, more or less. <br /> Reference is hereby made to a plat of the survey made by J. <br /> Ralph Weaver April 17, 1944, which said plat is duly recorded <br /> in the office of the Register of Deeds of Orange County. <br /> for the price of <br /> The County Attorney is directed to prepare a deed <br /> conveying same to Virginia Foust. All expenses incident to the <br /> closing shall be paid by Virginia Foust. <br /> This the day of 1980. <br /> Richard E.
