The Selection Committee will be advised by the staff of CHSA <br /> as to the vacancies which have occurred or are about to occur <br /> among those slots allocated to the Selection Committee for <br /> filling. The Committee will take, or cause to be taken; <br /> appropriate action that will assume broad, public participation <br /> and access. Such actions will include, but not be Limited tom <br /> public notices in local newspapersi solicitation of recommenda- <br /> tions from local organizations; recommendations from Committee <br /> members themselves, and such other sources as the Committee may <br /> deem to be useful in the achievement of participation ands <br /> access by the public. T <br /> The Committee may make full use of cHSA staff in Carrying out <br /> its duties: and may use agency resources for mailings„ Organiz- <br /> ing and holding meetings, providing application forms to <br /> candidates, and such other' support services as are needed by <br /> { the Committee. <br /> Vg.
