' AGENDA ITEM n 6B
i
`f
f
3I
fj1
4
{
MEMO
I
TO: Saris uatti, county Manager
FROM: Mark H. Rees, Director of purchasing & Central Services:*
I
DATn: October 11, .1980
I
RE: CETA Employee on Switchboard
The Coun4 is presently running two switchboards and will continue to do
so until, the move of County departments is completed. To run both these switch-
boards has required the use of my, two permanent staff people as well as one full
time and one. part-tire CETA employee. On October 5, 1980, any full-time XETP CETA
employee will be terminated when her program ends.
T am requesting that this employee be transferred to PSP status, so that
she can continue to operate the sw. tchboard untilithey are consolidated and to
prevent my department from being severly restricted in its other activities. if
I were to use mir permanent personnel to take the place of the terminated CETA
I
position, it would allow my department approximately one (1) hour per day spent
i
I
on clerical. operations.
I
i
I
i
I
I
I
