AGENDA ITEM ; 13 <br /> RESOLUTION <br /> WHEREAS, the Orange County Board of Commissioners received a ,Single Purpose <br /> Community Development Block Grant in 1978 for the construction of water <br /> & sewer lines in the Northern Fairview area, and <br /> WHEREAS, Billings & Garrett, Inc. of Raleigh, N. C. under contract with the <br /> County, has completed installing 14,556.5 feet of gravity sewer line, <br /> 7602 feet of force main, and three pumping stations, and <br /> WHEREAS, the contractor has also finished the construction of 5519 feet of <br /> water line and installed 16 fire hydrants, and has received final payment, <br /> for all the work after final inspection, and <br /> WHEREAS, the sewer and water lines in Northern Fairview are extensions of the <br /> Town of Hillsborough's lines and the domestic wastewater is presently <br /> being treated at the Town's sewage treatment plant, <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by this Board that the Northern Fairview water <br /> sewer improvements as shown on the as-built drawings prepared by Pridgen <br /> Consultants, Inc, of Chapel Hill, N. Pursuant to G.S. 160A-411 and 16OA-413, the Board of Aldermen <br /> of the Town of Carrboro hereby requests the Orange County Board of Commissioners <br /> to direct the County Electrical Inspector to enforce the North Carolina State <br /> Electrical Code within the Town of Carrboro's planning jurisdiction. <br /> Section 2.
