4 <br /> ADDENDUM.. continued -5' <br /> 4. to administer funds provided by the County Commissioners <br /> and other funding sources in accordance with approved <br /> policies; <br /> ,, to act as agent for the State Division of Aging and Area <br /> Agency on Aging in relation to work required by these <br /> agencies in the County; <br /> b. to disseminate information to the public and promote <br /> the general welfare of older County residents; <br /> 7. to represent the Department at local , state and national <br /> conferences and professional meetings ; <br /> B. to develop a County Aging Service Plan in consultation <br /> with the Board and in cooperation with public and <br /> private organizations; <br /> 9. to review and recommend use of Older Americans Act funds <br /> available to Orange County; <br /> lO, to develop appropriate subcontracts with public and <br /> private agencies for the provision of specific services <br /> to older persons ; <br /> 11 . to secure financial support for the Department through <br /> grant applications and annual budget preparation in con- <br /> sultation with the Board; <br /> 12. to prepare all reports required by the County and other <br /> funding sources and insure that all activities of the <br /> Department are carried on in accordance with established <br /> County policies and regulations. <br />
