4.9 <br /> (1) To supply providers of special educational and care services <br /> for handicapped children who need physical support as well as <br /> crash protection with carefully selected crash-tested child <br /> restraint devices (CRD's) for use with these children; <br /> (2) To provide the employees who will be using the CRD's with the <br /> training necessary to properly use the CRD's; <br /> and, <br /> Whereas, in accomplishing the above, GHSP agrees to: <br /> (1) Provide the County with a supply of 11 carefully <br /> selected crash-tested child restraint devices for use by <br /> the Northside Children's Learning Center; <br /> (2) To designate personnel who will provide those Northside <br /> employees who will use the CRD's with the training necessary <br /> to learn how to properly install the CRD's in their cars and <br /> how to properly secure the children within the CRD's; <br /> Whereas the County agrees to cooperate with GHSP to the following <br /> extent: <br /> (1) To require that Northside Children's Learning Center employees, <br /> who transport handicapped children will always attempt to obtain <br /> a CRD and will secure those children in the CRD's provided when <br /> — transporting them in cars; <br /> (2) To use the CRD's provided to the County for a period of <br /> not less than two years from the date of this agreement; <br /> (3) To establish a mechanism and to provide manpower necessary to <br /> move the CRD's from vehicle to vehicle as needed; <br /> (4) To provide training in the proper installation and use of the <br /> CRD's for new employees as they are hired; <br /> i <br /> (5) To act as an child transportation safety information distribu- <br /> tion source within the County using information and materials <br /> provided by GHSP. <br /> { (6) To provide a report to GHSP every three months which will include <br /> an estimate of the frequency of use of the CRD's by the employees <br /> and problems encountered by the employees in using the CRD's and <br /> suggestions for improving the program; <br /> (7) To provide a report at the end of the 12th. month and the 24th. <br /> month from this Agreement which will include an inventory of <br /> the CRD's in use and which will include a report on the condi- <br /> tion of the CRD's based on an inspection of each CRD; <br />
