/7 <br /> 7'e a-0--c 7 <br /> MEMORANDUM <br /> To: Orange County Board of Commissioners <br /> From: Commissioner Don Willhoit <br /> Subject: Cable N Citizens Advisory Committee <br /> Date: May 20, 1980 <br /> The Cable TV Citizens Advisory Committee recommends that the County <br /> Attorney be authorized to prepare a draft R F P, giving consideration to <br /> the following: <br /> 1. Encouragement should be given for proposals to be imaginative <br /> and innovative in serving as much of the County as practicable,. <br /> 2. Areas of County to be served - proposals to include map showing <br /> areas to be served, time table, and subsequent extension decision process. <br /> 3, Array of services to be offered and price to customers. <br /> 4. Ability to serve entire school districts and originate programs <br /> from at least some of the schools. <br /> 5. Ability for providing local programming. <br /> The Committee plans to review the draft and make final recommendations to <br /> the Board of Commissioners with the anticipation that the R F P can be <br /> issued before the Board's July recess. <br /> The Committee further recommends that the Commissioners advertise, at <br /> this time, that an R F P will be issued. <br /> i t <br /> I <br /> i <br /> -i <br />
