Carolina, encourages <br /> economic progress and job opportunities throughout the State in a way designed <br /> to assure a healthy and pleasant environment and to preserve the State's <br /> natural resources; and <br /> WHEREAS, this Policy provides for the designation of growth centers <br /> throughout the State, in an attempt to carry out the Policy; and - <br /> WHEREAS, the Town of Hillsborough located in Orange County has <br /> requested designation as a "Community Employment Center"; <br /> THEREFORE, the Orange County Board of Comaissiorters RESOLVES that <br /> they fully support the request by the Town of Hillsborough to be designated <br /> "Community Employment Center" under the Balanced Growth Policy of the state <br /> of North Carolina. <br /> JX <br /> RICH"O E.
