A E-NDA ITEM � <br /> RESOLUTION <br /> Pursuant to Article 20, Chapter 160A of the North <br /> Carolina General statutes the Board of Commissioners of <br /> Orange County, by motion duly made and seconded hereby resolve <br /> on behalf of Orange County to contract and agree with the <br /> Town of Carrboro, the Town of Chapel. Hill and the Town of <br /> Hillsborough to provide for centralized and systematized collection <br /> of property taxes inyOrange County via a joint tax collection <br /> system effective for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1978 and <br /> for taxes charged to the County Tax Collector for the collection <br /> year beginning September 11 1978. By this resolution the Board <br /> hereby ratifies the operation of the joint tax collection system <br /> pursuant to the contract entered into on this day for the tax <br /> collection years beginning September 1, 1978 and September 1, <br /> 1979 <br /> It is further resolved that the Chairman is hereby <br /> authorized and directed to execute an behalf of the County,-the <br /> joint tax collection contract in quadruplicate originals. <br /> This the 8th day of Agri i 19 80. <br /> I, Mary Lou Bouley Clerk to the Orange <br /> County Board of Commissioners, North Carolina, DO THEREBY CERTIFY <br /> that the foregoing is a true and complete copy of so much of the <br /> proceedings of the Board for said County at a meeting held <br /> April 8, 19 8Q as relates to the resolution hereinabove <br /> set forth, and that said proceedings are recorded in Minute <br /> Book No. 12 of the minutes of the said Board. <br /> Clerk to the Board <br />
