M. , on the <br /> 8th day of Apri 1 19 80, <br /> Present: Commissioners Richard Whitted, Norman <br /> Walker, Norman Gustaveson, Anne Barnes and Ron Willhoit <br /> Absent: bone <br /> The following .resolution was read to the Board: <br /> PRELIMINARY ASSESSMENT RESOLUTION FOR THE FINANCING <br /> BY ORANGE COUNTY OF THE LOCAL SHARE OF THE COSTS OF <br /> PAVING NORTH CAROLINA STATE ROAD X1320, ALSO KNOWN <br /> AS LOOP ROAD, IN CHEEKS TOWNSHIP, ORANGE COUNTY, <br /> NORTH CAROLINA. <br /> E <br /> i WHEREAS the Board of County Commissioners of Orange <br /> i <br /> -- County has received a petition requesting the paving of North <br /> Carolina State Road ;1320, also known as Loop Road, <br /> in Cheeks Township, Orange County, North Carolina, which <br /> petition has been signed by at least seventy-five percent <br /> E <br /> I <br /> (75%) of the owners of property adjoining the said roads, <br /> I <br /> which property represents at least seventy-five percent <br /> S <br /> k (75%) of the lineal feet of frontage of the lands abutting <br /> k the said roads, pursuant to North Carolina [general Statute <br /> §153A-205(c) , and <br /> f <br /> WHEREAS the Board of County Commissioners of Orange <br /> County has elected to finance the local share of the costs <br /> of paving the said roads, as permitted by North Carolina General <br /> Statute 5153A--185(4) and as provided for in North <br /> Carolina General Statute g153A--205(a) . <br /> �„tiHOLZ <br /> 'RSON IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED THAT: <br /> } AT'11"'!'c'L, .;C. <br /> cs..;c 1.
