AGENDA ITEM n 10 <br /> CETA BUDGET AMENDMENT <br /> In October of 1979, the Mate Division of Community Employment <br /> made an allocation of funds to the Orange-Durham CETA program that <br /> was described as an estimate of funds available to the agency for the <br /> first qu rter of the federal fiscal year. At that time the <br /> Congress had not agreed upon a budget for CETA for the 1979-80 <br /> federal fiscal year. Our eventual allocation of CETA funds proved <br /> to be substantially smaller than initially estimated; thus, it <br /> became neFessary to terminate certain positions of the County's <br /> CETA progam in February. <br /> This amendment budgets the remaining funds due Orange-Durham <br /> from the Division of Community Employment and makes transfers <br /> between accounts to reflect actual or anticipated expenditures <br /> through September 30, 1980 as reviewed with the Board earlier. <br />
