SOCIAL SERVICES RECEPTIONIST <br /> (POSITION R7) <br /> This position, receptionist in the Hillsbarough office, has been in <br /> existence for five years and funded through one of a variety of employment <br /> programs. The Social Services Director feels and I agree, the position <br /> should not be eliminated. <br /> There are sufficient funds within the social services budget to fund <br /> this position until dune 30th. <br /> Recommendation: Continue this position with unexpended funds available <br /> within the social services budget. No budget amendment is necessary to <br /> implement this action. <br /> COMMISSION FOR WOMEN <br /> (POSITION tt8) <br /> The full time staff available to this organization has been provided <br /> through the CETA program. In September the program coordinator was terminated <br /> because of CETA tenure regulations. Since that time the office secretary has <br /> been the only staff available to the commission. <br /> Recommendation: Continue secretarial position and consider position <br /> of program coordinator in the context of the county budget for the 1980 - <br /> 1981 fiscal year. <br /> FINANCE DEPARTMENT <br /> (POSITIONS 99 & #12) <br /> Two CETA positions are allocated this department, a finance clerk and <br /> a purchasing clerk. The purchasing clerl: position, while considered the <br /> more necessary has not been filled as yet. The finance clerk position is <br /> vacant at the moment and could be left vacant through the remainder of this <br /> fiscal year. <br /> Recommendation: 1) Fund purchasing clerk position starting <br /> April lst. <br /> 2) Leave finance clerk position vacant for the <br /> remainder of this fiscal year. <br /> dt <br /> IA <br /> r� x <br />
