RECOMMENDATION(S): (Planning Board): The Planning Board approved a resolution at <br />their May 21, 2008 meeting recommending that the BOCC `postpone action on the application <br />until revised plans and additional information are submitted by the applicant in accordance with <br />these recommendations, and further recommends that the planning staff and Planning Board be <br />given adequate time and opportunity to complete necessary analysis and develop additional <br />recommendations.' <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): (Planning Staff): Planning staff has recommended approval of this <br />project based on the findings identified in Attachment One (1) of this abstract. <br />The BOCC will need to take the following steps with respect to processing this application: <br />1. Receive the Planning Board, and staff's, recommendation concerning this request <br />specifically: <br />a. Action on the rezoning petition, and <br />b. Action on the Class A SUP application. <br />2. Receive the applicant's response concerning the imposition of various conditions <br />identified by staff and the Planning Board concerning this project, and <br />3. Take action as deemed necessary to: <br />a. Approve the rezoning petition and/or the Class A SUP application, <br />b. Approve the application(s) with conditions, or <br />c. Deny the rezoning petition and/or the Class A SUP application. <br />based on the sworn testimony offered during the PUBLIC HEARINGS, the additional <br />information submitted by the applicant and members of the general public, and the <br />recommended findings as detailed by staff and the Planning Board. <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): (Administration): Administration recommends that the Board: <br />1. Receive into evidence all written materials presented to the Planning Board, <br />2. Receive Planning Board recommendations (Attachments Two and Three (b)) and staff <br />analysis (Attachments One (a) and (b) and Three (a)) regarding: <br />a. Article 20 Zoning Amendments; <br />b. Article 7 Planned Developments (PD); <br />c. BVPD-ED design solutions, items 1-14 except #11. <br />3. Direct the Planning Board to complete its work and provide its recommendations by June <br />12th: <br />a. To continue and complete work on additional conditions of approval not noted within <br />Attachments Three (a) and (b); <br />b. Complete their recommendations on Article 8 Special Use Permits and Findings of <br />Fact (Staff findings are in Attachments Three (a) and Four). <br />4. Adjourn public hearing to June 24th, 2008 at the Southern Human Services Center at <br />7:30PM <br />
