The contract was approved in concept by the Board, August 24, 1981, with <br /> the stipulation that it be referred to the Manager for fee negotiations <br /> and some language addition. A fee of 8.25% of construction cost was <br /> worked out. The County Attorney attached a fee schedule (referenced in <br /> Article 14.2,1) to the agreement which specifies that the fee would be <br /> lower if the scope of work is increased. In no event, however, could <br /> the fee exceed 8.25%. <br /> Once the space allocation discussion is made, instruction can be given <br /> for preparation of final plans.
