Public Hearings <br /> a. Comprehensive Plan and Unified Development Ordinance Text Amendments for <br /> Agricultural Support Enterprises within the Rural Buffer Land Use Classification <br /> (No Additional Comments Accepted) <br /> The Board considered: 1. Receiving the Planning Board's recommendation; 2. Closing <br /> the public hearing; 3. Deliberating as necessary on the proposed amendments; and 4. <br /> Deciding accordingly and/or adopting the Statement of Consistency and the Ordinance <br /> amending the Comprehensive Plan and UDO as recommended by the Planning Board and <br /> staff to implement a program commonly referred to as "Agricultural Support Enterprises" within <br /> the Rural Buffer land use classification. <br /> Perdita Holtz made the following PowerPoint presentation: <br /> Agricultural Support Enterprises with the Rural Buffer Land Use Classification <br /> Recent History <br /> • Heard at February 2014 quarterly public hearing <br /> • Joint Planning public hearing in March 2014 for necessary amendments to the joint <br /> planning documents <br /> -Adopted by the three local governments in April 2015 <br /> • Implementing regulations to the County's Comprehensive Plan and Unified <br /> Development Ordinance are under consideration tonight <br /> Changes from Version Presented at Public Hearing <br /> • Shown in green text in Attachment 3 <br /> • Incorporate recommendations made by the Towns of Carrboro and Chapel Hill <br /> ■ Remove four additional uses from consideration as an ASE-CZ in the rural <br /> buffer <br />
