Quarterly Public Hearing <br /> May 26, 2015 <br /> c. BOCC Updates/Checkpoints <br /> March 17, 2015 —Approval of the UDO Amendment Outline Form. <br /> April 1, 2015 — Planning Board Ordinance Review Committee (ORC). <br /> May 26, 2015 — Quarterly Public Hearing. The public hearing was held on May <br /> 26, 2015 where the following comments were made: <br /> a. Concerns were expressed there was a lack of County staff to <br /> inspect and monitor these stormwater features. <br /> STAFF COMMENT: The Director indicated he understood the <br /> concern and that the Department was in the process of hiring a <br /> new Erosion Control officer at the beginning of the year. Staffing <br /> needs would have to be re-evaluated and the need for additional <br /> personal could not be ruled out. <br /> b. A Board member asked about the impervious surface allocation <br /> issues associated with the Triple Crown subdivision. <br /> STAFF COMMENT: Staff reviewed the history of impervious <br /> surface allocations enacted by the developer of the Triple Crown <br /> subdivision. <br /> c. A Planning Board member indicated more work needed to be done <br /> to educate property owners on the requirements associated with the <br /> development of a stormwater feature on their property, including the <br /> recordation of an access easement to allow for inspection and <br /> maintenance activities. <br /> d. A Planning Board member said they were concerned this proposal <br /> would have a negative impact on local water quality issues. <br /> e. Staff informed the boards Commissioner Jacobs had suggested the <br /> proposed allowance not be allowed within Critical Watershed <br /> Overlay Districts in an attempt to address concerns over water <br /> quality issues. <br /> f. Dr. Janel Sexton addressed the boards expressing support for the <br /> proposed amendment as well as frustration over her property's <br /> 3 <br />
