Subsequently, the Board has conducted two public hearings to <br /> receive residents' comments regarding the proposed funding plan. On June 4, 2015, the Board <br /> discussed recommended FY 2015-16 budgets for Durham Technical Community College, <br /> Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools Board of Education and Orange County Schools Board of <br /> Education. Additionally, the Board discussed the Sportsplex operating budget and began <br /> discussions with County Departments in regards to their departmental budgets. <br /> Tonight's work session offers the Board an opportunity to continue discussing the <br /> recommended budget proposals directly with County departments, including department fee <br /> schedule change requests and associated non-departmental items. The following departments <br /> are scheduled to attend tonight's work session: <br /> • Register of Deeds <br /> • County Attorney <br /> • Tax Administration <br /> • Economic Development and the Orange County Arts Commission <br /> • Planning and Inspections, OPT and Efland Sewer <br /> • Aging <br /> • Social Services <br /> • Health Department <br /> • Housing, Human Rights and Community Development <br /> • Information Technologies <br /> • DEAPR-Department of Environment, Agriculture, Parks & Recreation <br />
