~s <br />Guyed Wireless support structure - A telecommunication wireless support <br />structure that is supported, in whole or in part, by guy wires and ground anchors. <br />Height -When referring to a wireless support structure, the distance measured <br />from the pre-existing grade level to the highest point on the structure, including <br />any antenna or lightening protection device. <br />Inspections Division - A division of the Orange County Planning and Inspections <br />Department. <br />Master Telecommunications Plan ("Plan") - A plan developed for Orange County <br />by the County's Planning Department that shows properties where owners have <br />expressed interest in allowing the placement of telecommunications wireless <br />support structures provided that all applicable federal, state, and local regulations <br />are met. Information. that may be shown on the plan will include existing wireless <br />support structures, .County defined Natural Areas, historic properties, scenic <br />corridors, all major electrical lines, Voluntary Agricultural Districts, existing <br />telecommunication wireless support structures, known bird migratory patterns <br />through the County and all public and quasi-public properties that may allow <br />telecommunication facilities. The Plan will be for purposes of disclosing <br />information to telecommunication providers when they are seeking to establish <br />their telecommunication networks in the County. <br />Microwave dish antenna - A dish-like antenna used to link wireless service sites <br />together by wireless transmission of voice or data. <br />Modification or Modify -The addition, removal, or change of any of the physical <br />and visually discernable components or aspects of a wireless facility or support <br />structure, such as antennas, cabling, equipment shelters, landscaping, fencing, <br />utility feeds, changing the color or materials or any visually discernable <br />components, vehicular access, parking and/or an upgrade or change-out of <br />equipment for better or more modern equipment. Adding a new wireless carrier or <br />service provider to a wireless support structure as a collocation is a modification. <br />Monopole Wireless support structure - A telecommunication wireless support <br />structure consisting of a .single pole or spire self supported by a permanent <br />foundation, constructed without guy wires and ground anchors. <br />Necessary -What is technologically required for the. equipment to function as <br />designed by the manufacturer and that anything less will result in prohibiting or <br />acting in a manner that prohibits the provision of service as intended and <br />described in the application. <br />NIER -Non-Ionizing Electromagnetic Radiation. <br />Panel Antenna - An inconspicuous, relatively flat, square or rectangular antenna <br />designed to be affixed to the wall of a building or structure in order to receive and <br />transmit signals from a telecommunication device. <br />
