39 <br />particular financial return on investment or profit, standing alone, and for a single <br />site shall not deem a situation to be commercially impracticable and shall not <br />render an act or the terms of an agreement commercially impractical. <br />EIA-222 -Electronics Industries Association Standard 222 (Structural Standards <br />for Steel Antenna Wireless support structures and Antenna Support Structures). <br />Equipment enclosure - An enclosed structure, cabinet, or shelter used to contain <br />radio or other eguipment necessary for the transmission or reception of wireless <br />communication signals. <br />Existing Structure/Building=For purposes of this Section, andbuilding or structure <br />that currently exist on a parcel of land. Such structures may include, but shall not <br />be limited to telecommunications wireless support structures, overhead <br />transmission line support structures, water tanks, silos, churches, schools, and <br />utilit,Lr poles. <br />Extraordinary Conditions -Conditions subsequent to a hurricane, flood, tornado, <br />or other natural or other disaster. <br />FAA -The Federal Aviation Administration or its duly designated and authorized <br />successor agency <br />FCC -The Federal Communications Commission or its duly designated and <br />authorized successor agenc rL. <br />Fall Zone -The area in which a wireless support structure may be expected to fall <br />in the event of a structural failure, as measured by engineering standards. <br />Guyed Wireless support structure - A telecommunication wireless support <br />structure that is supported, in whole or in part, by guy wires and ground anchors. <br />Height -When referring to a wireless support structure, the distance measured <br />from the pre-existing grade level to the highest point on the structure, including <br />any antenna or lightening protection device. <br />Inspections Division - A division of the Orange County Planninq_and Inspections <br />Department. <br />Master Telecommunications Plank"Plan") - A flan developed for Orange County <br />by the County's Planning Department that shows properties where owners have <br />expressed interest in allowing the placement of telecommunications wireless <br />support structures provided that all applicable federal, state, and local regulations <br />are met. Information that m~ be shown on the plan will include existing wireless <br />support structures, County defined Natural Areas, historic properties, scenic <br />corridors all maLor electrical lines, Voluntary Agricultural Districts, existing <br />telecommunication wireless support structures, known bird migratory patterns <br />through the County and all public and quasi-public properties that may allow <br />telecommunication facilities.
