25 <br />proposed site was identified on either the site plan or the search <br />a~ea~ ring plan shown at the ATPM. <br />2) Formal applications for the May and November Public Hearings by <br />the County Commissioners, and meetings of the Board of <br />Adjustment, shall be submitted in accordance with the published <br />yearly calendar of meetings schedule. <br />3) Exceptions to the ATPM requirement as it applies to a particular site <br />may be allowed in the case of unforeseen events as defined in <br />Section 6.18 provided the applicant shall submit documentation for <br />review by the Orange County Development review Advisory <br />Committee (Df~AC) that such a waiver is necessary. The D~AC <br />shall make a determination on the waiver request and notify the <br />applicant within a reasonable time period. . <br />4) As of the effective date of this Ordinance amendment, any pending <br />applications that have not received a zoning compliance permit or a <br />special use permit shall meet all requirements of this Ordinance, <br />including, but not limited to submission deadlines, application <br />standards and processing, excluding the ATPM requirement. <br />8.8.17a Telecommunication Wireless support structures <br />Overall Policy and Desired. Goals for Special Use Permits for <br />Telecommunications T-ewers Wireless Support Structures. <br />The overall ,policy and desired goals for Special Use Permits for <br />telecommunications wireless support structures shall be ~promotinq and <br />encouraging, wherever possible, alternatives to constructing new +^~s wireless <br />support structures, including but not limited to the co-location of wireless <br />telecommunications ..equipment and mitigating the visual effect of a <br />telecommunication wireless support structure to an extent not commercially <br />impracticable; promoting and encouraging, wherever possible, the placement, <br />height and quantity of wireless telecommunications towers and equipment in such <br />a manner, including but not limited to the use of stealth technology or camouflage <br />techniques, to minimize adverse aesthetic and visual impacts on the land, <br />property, buildings, and other facilities adjacent to, surrounding, and in generally <br />the same area as the requested location of such telecommunications wireless <br />support structure, which shall mean using the least visually and physically <br />intrusive facility that is not technologically or commercially impracticable under the <br />facts and circumstances. <br />8.8.17a.1 Definitions <br />Words, terms and phrases, when used in this Section, shall have the meanings <br />ascribed to them as in ~eEt+en-6-~ Article 22. <br />
