At that session the citizens indicated They wanted more opportunity to speak than
had been allotted on tonight's printed agenda. In terms of agenda materials for this and other
transfer station siting meetings, she urged Olver and the staff to provide complete agenda
materials. That has not been done. She also said that in previous meetings, Commissioners
have requested that, when they make a comment or ask for information, it should be
recorded and then presented at the following meetings. If comments or suggestions are
made with respect to an exhibit, the comments should •be noted at the bottom of the exhibit.
Commissioner Gordon said that the public asked good questions about the definitions.
She would like to know how the consultants planned to score the criteria, such as the technical
criteria. She knows that the criteria will be ranked, but they also have to be weighted. She said
• they were told that when Olver gets the top sites based on technical criteria, there will be a
fairly detailed analysis of those sites. She thinks that the County Commissioners need more
information from Olver in response to the questions that have been asked. They particularly
need to know how Olver plans to score and weight criteria.
