Library Services <br />2. Orange County Library Services has received a $4,500 contribution to the Rebecca Wall <br />Fund of the Orange County Public Library to support the library's local history collection, <br />ancestry database, and archives. This budget amendment provides for the receipt of <br />these funds. (See Attachment 1, column 2) <br />County Manager's Office — Orange County Partnership to End Homelessness <br />3. The Orange County Partnership to End Homelessness has agreed to appropriate <br />Partnership fund balance of $2,000 in FY 2014 -15 to support the Community <br />Empowerment Fund (CEF) of Chapel Hill. These funds will be used to partially support <br />the CEF building rent for May and June 2015. The Manager's Recommended FY 2015- <br />16 Budget includes an additional appropriation of $10,000 from the Partnership fund <br />balance to partially support the CEF building rent from July 2015 — April 2016. This <br />budget amendment provides for a fund balance appropriation of $2,000 from the <br />Partnership to End Homelessness Program for FY 2014 -15 for the above stated purpose. <br />(See Attachment 1, column 3) <br />Health Department <br />4. The Health Department has received notification from the Susan G. Komen Community <br />Grants Program of the receipt of $49,624 in grant funds. The grant period is from April 1, <br />2015 through March 31, 2016. The department will use these funds to pay for <br />mammograms for Orange County residents. This budget amendment provides for the <br />receipt of these funds and establishes the following Grant Project Ordinance. (See <br />Attachment 1, column 4) <br />Susan G. Animal Services will use these funds to assist with <br />the construction of an outside dog play area at the Animal Services facility. <br />• Animal Services has received an additional $380 from the sale of Spay /Neuter T- <br />shirts. These funds will be used to purchase additional shirts for sale.
