Also attached is, a copy of G.S. §1. 15C-38 which. <br />4 <br />mdicates that compensation for members o f a board, of education is fixed by the tax-levyfilg <br />authority for the local school district. <br />I respectfally- request that the Orange . County Board of Con'unissioners fix the compensation for <br />the members of the Orange County Board of Education- such that it is the same as: that for the <br />members of the Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Board of Education.
