Since 1985 Orange Family <br />Medical Center has provided medical care to inmates of <br />Orange County Jail. <br />Provisions of the contract call for a monthly fee plus <br />laboratory fees, x -rays, and after hours emergency care <br />to be paid to the medical center. The monthly fee July 1 <br />- June 30, 1988 will be increased by $50 per month to <br />$550, an annual total of $6,600. Lab and x -ray fee <br />schedules remain consistent with those submitted last <br />year. Sufficient funds are set forth in the 1987-88 Recommended <br />Budget. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Approve contract with Orange Family Medical Center <br />July 1 through June 30, 1988, for an annual sum of <br />$6,600; and authorize the Chair to sign on behalf of <br />the Board. <br />
