INTEROFFICE MEMORANDUM: 8706-1804 O-Lb <br />Drainage Problems --Wildwood Subdivision <br />June 129 1987 <br />Page 3 <br />can only be provided through a more in-depth evaluation of <br />the total drainage pattern within the subdivision. <br />I recommend that further plat approvals for existing phases <br />and /or sections of Wildwood Subdivision be withheld until the <br />the following are completed:- <br />1. The developer reimburses the County for the cost of <br />employing the services of a registered engineer to <br />conduct a detailed evaluation of the drainage problems <br />in Wildwood Subdivision and prepare a stormwater <br />managiment plin to resolve identified problems, <br />including problems associated with the existence of <br />underground springs both in existing portions of the <br />subdivision and proposed additions thereto; <br />2. Submission to and approval by both Orange County and the <br />N.C. Department of Transportation of the stormwater <br />minagemient plan as described In 01 above; and <br />3. Installation, by the developer, of <br />all required <br />improvements as shown on the - approved stormwater <br />management plan._ <br />If legally possible, I would further recommend that no <br />additional building -permits be issued for dwellings In <br />Wildwood Subdivision until the above plans have been prepared <br />and approved# and improvements Installed.- <br />
