Collins, Planning Director <br />SUBJECT: Drainage Problems - Wildwood Subdivision <br />DATE: June 12, 1987 <br />COPIES: Ken Thompson, County Manager <br />The Erosion Control Staff has conducted an investigation of <br />drain-age problems in WIldwood, including contacts with <br />individual property owners. The Problem areas are <br />concentrated in specific areas and are Identified below. <br />A. sketch map is provided to show the general location of <br />problem areas, <br />Lots .131-140 - George Anderson Drive <br />Problems identified Include: <br />as Area Is generally poorly drained. <br />bt Stagnant water is standing in ditches. <br />co Water Is present under some houses, <br />do Lot 133 Is especially wet. <br />el Springs are present on lots 133 and,137. <br />f! Odor problems associated with sewer line . s. <br />99 on Runoff from some lots <br />- the west side of Judah <br />Benjamin Court Is accumulating at the rear of lots <br />132 and 133. <br />h.. some lots were filled, and the creek along the <br />drainage easement floods the rear of these lots. <br />The Erosion Control Staff questions whether the culvert <br />(18") at the Intersection of Oakdale Drive Extension and <br />George Anderson Drive is large enough. Furthermore, the <br />Staff has concerns about there being adequate fail in ditches and drainage easements.- <br />2. Lots 67-70 - Wade Hampton Drive <br />A major problem Identified is insufficient fall In the <br />ditch along Wade Hampton Drive, A driveway culvert Is <br />too high* and stormwater Is ba6king up and flowing down <br />in front of several homes. <br />3. Lots 15-17 - Wade Hampton Drive/John Breckenridge Drive <br />Problems identified Include: <br />
