N M A F T <br />1±q <br />3 <br />MOTION: Pilkey moved approval of the policy for applying landscape <br />requirements to subdivisions that were in process when the <br />new standards went into effect. Seconded by Walters. <br />Yuhasz reminded the Board that a concern of the Commis - <br />sioners has been the number of conditions on preliminary <br />.plans. Jacobs agreed noting that once the policy is <br />adopted, the applicant will be complying with the land- <br />scape standards before the presentation of a preliminary <br />plan. <br />VOTE: Unanimous. <br />Jacobs stated that Yuhasz would be abstaining on Agenda <br />Items #6a, e, c and g due to professional conflict of <br />interest. <br />AGENDA ITEM 06: SUBDIVISION APPLICATIONS <br />The landscape provisions apply to all prelimimary plans on <br />the agenda. <br />a. McAdams Estates - Preliminary Plat <br />(Town of Hillsborough) <br />Presentation by Garrett. <br />The property in question is located in the Town of <br />Hillsborough on the east side of McAdams Road. There <br />are six (6) lots proposed out of 1.82 acres. The <br />average lot size is 0.25 acres. The zoning designation <br />is R -10 (Town of Hillsborough). McAdams Estates <br />Section One was a two (2) lot minor subdivision <br />approved on January 16, 1987. <br />All applicable agencies have reviewed and commented on <br />the application. The Town of Hillsborough Planning <br />Board has recommended approval of the subdivision <br />subject to the folio -wing conditions: <br />(1) Driveway access for Lots 3 through 8 must be <br />restricted to Westdale Court. <br />(2) Water and sewer lines must be extended at the <br />expense of the developer and in accord with Town <br />of Hillsborough water and sewer extension <br />policies as follows: <br />(a) Plans must be submitted by the developer to <br />the Town Engineer for review and approval. <br />Subsequent to his approval, the plans must <br />
