(2) in the case of minor subdivisions, sketch plan approval <br />was obtained between December 1, 1986 and March 24, <br />09'_1 1987. <br />The recommended policy was presented to the Board of Commis- <br />sioners at its May 19, 1987 meeting. At that meeting the <br />Board of Commissioners on the advice of the County Attorney <br />deferred action on the policy until he could meet with the <br />Planning Staff to discuss handling the situation with an <br />ordinance revision rather than a policy. That meeting has <br />been held. The following recommendation results from that <br />meeting. <br />RECOMMENDATION: The County Manager recommends approval of the proposed <br />policy as recommended by the Planning Board with the <br />following additional condition: <br />- That the Planning Staff be directed to bring forth an <br />ordinance amendment to implement the policy,_ i.e., set the <br />effective date of the amendments to Section 1V_B __8- c -1 as <br />March 24, 1987. <br />
