As proposed, the <br />solar facility would occupy a 20 acre portion of the existing 35.88 acre tract. <br />An overview of the project is as follows: <br />White Cross Solar Array — Public Utility Overview: <br />Applicant: White Cross Solar, LLC and property owners William and Carol Byron <br />Location: 1606 White Cross Road (S.R. 1951), Chapel Hill, NC <br />PIN: 9748 -32 -0786 <br />Legal Description: DB 4881/PG 313; and PB 81 /PG 31 <br />Zoning: Agricultural Residential (AR) <br />Overlay Districts: Haw River Protected Watershed Overlay District <br />School District: Orange County Schools <br />Utilities: No septic systems are proposed for this project; proposed public utility of solar <br />energy <br />Total Acreage: 35.8 acres (request will utilize approximately 20 acres of the current <br />parcel) <br />Access: Vehicular access to the solar array - public utility is proposed directly off White <br />Cross Road. <br />
