TIME: 5:30- 7:30PM MEETING ORGANIZER: WHITE CROSS SOLAR, LLC AND PROPERTY OWNERS WILLIAM AND CAROL BYRON Per Section 2.7 of the Orange County Unified Development Ordinance (UDO), a Neighborhood Information Meeting (NIM) was held on April 9, 2015 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. to review and allow comment on the proposed development of a solar facility on a parcel of property off of White Cross Road. Specifically, the applicants have submitted a Class A Special Use Permit (SUP) application seeking to develop a solar array - public utility at 1606 White Cross Road, further identified utilizing Orange County Parcel Identification Number (PIN) 9748 -32 -0786. As proposed, the solar facility would occupy a 20 acre portion of the existing 35.88 acre tract. An overview of the project is as follows: White Cross Solar Array — Public Utility Overview: Applicant: White Cross Solar, LLC and property owners William and Carol Byron Location: 1606 White Cross Road (S.R. 1951), Chapel Hill, NC PIN: 9748 -32 -0786 Legal Description: DB 4881/PG 313; and PB 81 /PG 31 Zoning: Agricultural Residential (AR) Overlay Districts: Haw River Protected Watershed Overlay District School District: Orange County Schools Utilities: No septic systems are proposed for this project; proposed public utility of solar energy Total Acreage: 35.8 acres (request will utilize approximately 20 acres of the current parcel) Access: Vehicular access to the solar array - public utility is proposed directly off White Cross Road.
