The proposed facility will utilize approximately 20 acres of the 35.88 acre tract. <br />Approximately 11.5 acres of this area will contain the enclosed solar array panels. <br />Staff determined on March 11, 2015 that the materials submitted were sufficient to proceed with the <br />SUP process as defined in Section 2.7 of the Orange County Unified development Ordinance. On March <br />13, 2015 Orange County Planning Staff delivered courtesy review copies of the submitted materials to the <br />NCDOT District Engineer, Towns of Chapel Hill and Carrboro for professional review and comment. On <br />the morning of April 8, 2015, 2015 Orange County Staff presented the case before Orange County <br />Development Advisory committee (DAC), and on the evening of April 8, 2015 a Neighborhood <br />Information Meeting (NIM) was conducted. An additional neighborhood meeting was also hosted by the <br />applicants at the White Cross Recreational Facility on May 7, 2014. <br />
