NCDOT,
in compliance with NCGS 136-44.8, has posted in the Orange County Courthouse a County
map showing tentative secondary road paving projects, and has published notice of the public
hearing in county newspapers (The Chapel Hill News, ,The News of Orange and The Mebane
Enterprise).
The 2008-2009 allocation for Orange County secondary roads totals $ 1,102,737. If right-of-way is not available on the specified unpaved roads, or if additional funds are
allocated, other roads will be programmed in order of priority.
